In historic downtown San Diego you can see the New Play Festival at 7:30 p.m. at Horton Plaza. There are also a number of concerts this weekend – just to name a few: The Casbah is hosting Little Hurricane at 8:30 p.m. tonight and Tanlines at 10:30 pm tomorrow, April 29. Also tonight, you can see Tribal Seeds, Through the Roots, Fortunate Youth at SOMA. That’s at 7:00 p.m. At the House of Blues you can see Ingrid Michaelson at 7:00 p.m. or at Anthology you can catch Strunz & Farah at 7:30 p.m. or Griffin House at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, April 29th offers a few concerts as well. Curren$y at UCSD Price Center at 8:00 p.m., and at Anthology – John McEuen at 7:00 p.m. If you’re a movie fan there is: 21 Jump Street, American Reunion, Blue Like Jazz, The Cabin in the Wood, Chimpanzee, Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax, the Five-Year Engagement, The Hunger Games, Lockout, the Lucky One and more.
